βš–οΈ Employment Conditions & CAO

  • As a truck driver via Fissh, your job is covered under the official Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) for Transport and Logistics. This guarantees fair working conditions and proper legal protection.

    You will:

    • Be paid according to experience and CAO salary scales

    • Receive pay every 4 weeks

    • Automatically join a pension scheme

    • Receive holiday pay, travel allowance, and other benefits

    • Start with an ABU contract (standard temporary staffing agreement)

    1. Phase A (0 – 78 worked weeks)

      • Flexible contract

      • You only work when there is work

      • Easier entry-level phase

    2. Phase B (up to 4 years)

      • Fixed-term contracts

      • More job security

      • Accumulating rights and benefits

    3. Phase C (after Phase B)

      • Permanent contract via the agency

      • Or takeover by the client (which is often the case)

  • Your salary depends on your experience and the job itself

  • All wages follow the Transport & Logistics CAO

  • Experienced drivers often start at scale D6 or higher

  • Salary is paid every 4 weeks, directly to your bank account

  • – Period 5 – payment in week 21 -(19 mei t/m 25 mei)
    – Period 6 – payment in week 25(16 jun t/m 22 jun)
    – Period 7 – payment in week 27(14 jul t/m 20 jul)
    – Period 8 – payment in week 33(11 aug t/m 17 aug)
    – Period 9 – payment in week 37(8 sep t/m 14 sep)
    – Period 10 – payment in week 41(6 okt t/m 12 okt)
    – Period 11 – payment in week 45(3 nov t/m 9 nov)
    – Period 12 – payment in week 49(1 dec t/m 7 dec)
    – Period 13 – payment in week 1(29 dec t/m 4 jan)

Sick? What to do

  • If you are unable to work due to illness:

    • You must report this to your on-site employer (where you physically work)

    • Make sure to call before 08:00 in the morning on your first sick day

    • Fissh will follow up with all necessary steps, including support and guidance
