Vacancy: Metalworker – Shipyard (Nijmegen/Wijchen Region)
Are you an experienced metalworker / ironworker looking for a stable job in the Netherlands?
Fissh Agency is currently seeking a motivated and skilled metalworker for one of our clients at a shipyard in the Nijmegen/Wijchen region.
Your tasks will include:
Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal structures for ships and marine constructions.
Reading and working from technical drawings.
Welding, bolting, and securing metal components according to specifications.
Inspecting work for quality and compliance with safety standards.
Working independently and as part of a team.
What we ask:
Proven experience as a metalworker or ironworker, preferably in a shipyard environment.
Knowledge of metalworking tools and welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
A precise, reliable, and safety-conscious work attitude.
English communication skills (Dutch or German is an advantage).
Driving license B is preferred.
