Vacancy: Welder – Shipyard (Nijmegen/Wijchen Region)
Are you an experienced welder looking for a new opportunity in the Netherlands?
Fissh Agency is currently seeking a motivated and skilled welder for one of our clients at a shipyard in the Nijmegen/Wijchen region.
Your tasks will include:
Performing MIG/MAG or TIG welding on ships and marine structures.
Reading and working from technical drawings.
Assembling and finishing welded structures according to specifications.
Checking weld quality and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Working both independently and as part of a team.
What we ask:
Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a shipyard or metal construction environment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Relevant welding certificates are an advantage.
A precise, reliable, and safety-conscious work attitude.
English communication skills (Dutch or German is an advantage).
Driving license B is preferred.
